Thoughts

Our thoughts are what truly defined us. “So a man thinketh in his heart, so is he” Proverbs 23:7. This let’s you know how much weight your thoughts actually have. What if you truly believed what God actually said about you. You are the head and not the tail, you are the lender and not the borrower, you are fearfully and wonderfully made. God has said this and so much more about us, but we are so programmed to think negative about ourselves, we feel less than. We as Christians are a royal priesthood, a chosen generation. You have to train yourself to get rid of toxic thoughts, not just how you think of you, but how your think of others. You have to choose to capture all of those negative thoughts. It will be one of the toughest battles we face. The mind just doesn’t forget what it knows, you have to replace the negative with a positive. Good always conquer evil. If you are able to take your thoughts captive then that means you have the power to do something about your own mind.

Don’t allow your mind to take control of you, control your mind. Paul tells us in Philippians 4 think on things that are true, noble, lovely, honest, of good report thank on these things. When you know something is coming in your mind that does not represent these it has to be removed. You can not ponder on negative things and expect a positive outcome. You have to cast down every vain imagination. We can not conform to this world. That means keep doing things according to the world standards. But we have to be transformed buy the renewing of the mind. How do we renew our minds? By reading our word, by casting out negative thoughts, by training our minds to think positive. We spend a lot of time thinking the mind is consistently going. We need to make sure it is going with the right things. We are going to have evil thought come to our mind, but what we do with those thought is the problem. Remember that Jesus came in the world and overcame the world so you can have power to become Kingdom Minded. Kingdom Minded is just you thinking more about God’s Kingdom, then your own. Let’s get our thoughts in check.
