Godly Wisdom

The dictionary defines wisdom as the quality of having experience, knowledge, and good judgment; the quality of being wise. Well Godly Wisdom is all of that but it comes from God. We as people can be to wise for our own good. Sometimes we think we know more than God. That is why God says in 1 Corinthians 1:27 But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God is always letting us know he is wisdom. We sometimes get caught up in education and nothing is wrong with education. I believe in it. It is when you use your education to rationalize God. That’s when it becomes a problem. God gives us revelation knowledge. Knowledge about things we never even thought of. He opens our minds to His secret things, and it is all for His Glory. James 1:5 says If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. If you lack wisdom God will give it you, if you ask for it. I don’t care what we are doing in this world nothing makes you wiser than winning souls. Telling someone about Jesus is the wisest decision we can make. Proverbs 11:30 says the fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he that winneth souls is wise.
