Encouragement:Beauty
Beauty defined by Merriam- Webster means: a combination of qualities, such as shape, color, or form, that pleases the aesthetic senses, especially the sight. If we were to ask someone what is the most beautiful thing about you, most likely they would say something of the outer appearance like their eyes, legs, lips, shape or etc. The world teaches and sells us that beauty is an outer thing when truly it is inner. True beauty comes from within, beauty is a person that is Kind, selfless, compassionate, loving, faithful, full of joy and etc. Beauty is a heart issue. Proverbs 31:30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. The word fleeting means it last for very short time. As we get older things will sag, we will get wrinkles and even gray, but what will remain is our hearts for God. They say Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I say if your beauty doesn’t catch the eye of the one, we should behold which is Christ Jesus we got a problem. Remember beauty is skin deep!
