Suicide

Suicides among young people continue to be a serious problem in this county. Suicide is the second leading cause of death for children, adolescents, and young adults age 5-to-24-years of age.

Suicide attempts may be caused by feelings of stress, self-doubt, pressure to succeed, financial uncertainty, disappointment, and loss.

We have to pay close attention to our youth. We have to ask God to give us a spirit of discernment when concerning them. We have to deal with the core of the problem so we can deal with them. They are dealing with a lot of things that didn’t exist in our day like cyber bullying, sex trafficking and etc…

God is the answer for our kids. We have to teach them about Christ and his precepts so they will follow him. They need to know they are fearfully and wonderfully made. They are beautiful in the eye sight of God, that God makes master pieces and they are one of them.

The oppression and depression they feel comes from this world. The cares of life. But God wants us to cast our cares on him, for He cares for us.

We have to love them and listen to them. Always have an open line of communication them. They need to be able to talk and listen to Godly counsel.

Suicide has a cure and it is Christ. I once too was suicidal. I know what it feels like to want to give up. I was between those ages when I was thinking about it. I was depressed and felt like no one loved me. I was wrong. God always loved me. He wouldn’t let it be so. I cried out to Him and He saved. All my pain didn’t go away the next day, but each day it got a little better. God loves you and He will help you.
