Peace

We were all overwhelmed by the school shooting that took place in Parkland, Florida like so many other massacres that have devastated this country. I have heard a lot of comments about the shootings, like, we need stricter gun laws, who is to blame, and why? None of us have all the answers. To say prayers and condolences don’t work. Well, Prayer is something that has always worked and is still working. It will change our situation, circumstance, heal our hearts, give us comfort, and a spirit to forgive. We have to pray to the right God, the true and living God. Prayer was a part of school criteria at one point in time and things were a lot different then. I say if it wasn’t broke, don’t fix it. We need prayer back in the schools. The enemy is after our children, the next generation. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; (I Cor 10:4). Prayer is a powerful weapon. At times like these we need to stand together in perfect harmony which is love, not be separated in division. To the victims’ families, May God give you peace and heal your broken hearts.
