Hope for Our Men

This has been some trying times for our community here in Manatee County and counties, cities, and states near and far. The males that we love are under attack not just from being racial profiled, but from each other. We can’t pick up a paper without seeing our sons, cousins, nephews, and uncles in the paper for committing a murder or being the victim of murder. We all think we have the answer of what will work best to solve the problem. The answer is Christ. He is the only answer! We have to make God apart of our lives. He is the one that holds us accountable without him we have no conscious. The Holy Spirit leads us, and guides us into all truth and what is right. Without him we have no direction. I know the world will make us feel like there is no hope, but our hope is in Christ. We need to not only pray, but be examples of what a good man looks like. Don’t just talk it, but live it. The word says the steps of a good man are order by the Lord. I believe if we come together to spread the gospel, live lives that are holy, and provide areas of escape in our communities. We would see a change. We do have some men that are really living for Christ, taking care of the families, but we need more. Help spread hope!
